Couriers - It is becoming increasingly difficult for a Courier to find a rental company prepared to supply a rental vehicle to an owner driver involved in the delivery industry. ODL can help. We can supply a rental vehicle with the carriage of goods for hire & reward for short and extended periods. You are more than welcome to use an existing commercial vehicle insurance policy, you simply need to inform your insurance company that you are renting a commercial vehicle for a short period. Payments for vehicle rental are collected weekly in advance. For long term hire we would require proof of your past earnings.

 

General Public - It  is unlikely that your private vehicle insurance would extend to cover a rented commercial vehicle even if it was just for the day. Worth asking though! In the event we can offer vehicle insurance cover to you, the cost of which would be added to your vehicle hire charge.

Companies - If you have a fleet policy then the rental vehicle could be added or we can supply vehicle insurance the cost of which would be added to your vehicle hire charge.
